Lighting
What happens when light falls upon an object? Is it absorbed or reflected? And, how does it affect it's color? Not all lighting, whether it be daylight or artificial, needs to fulfill a specific task. Color, in fact, is reflected light. The lighting I've created, made from hardwoods such as mahogany, purple heart, cypress, etc. brings out highlites, shades and shadows, and the visibility of texture and color. It is essential, not only to have "task" oriented light, but lighting with visual interest to compliment a well designed space. These lighting fixtures, made from wood, offer a unique experience in mood and ambiance, whether it be for the home or commercial environment.
